I think Liddell has a stylistic advantage over Franklin similar to the advantages he had over Wanderlei. Liddell may be too old, but I won't know for sure until fight time. Rua and Evans have much faster hands than Franklin. I don't know if Franklin can exploit any difference in hand speed.

Octagon jitters?! haha I doubt either of these guys especially Yvel. That dude has fought in front of ALOT bigger crowds then what the UFC gets.

Fireworks right away, hope it continues; think Rothwell might wear him out and win it late 2nd or 3rd.

Starting to turn into yet another "great striker not prepared for a ground fight"

Oh ****, he got up, might be on, although Ben can strike a little; not as well as Yvel though.

Now Yvel sweeped him, and is beat him senseless on the ground, presumably just to make me look like a ****.

I can't believe how good this fight is. It looked like Yvel had him out this round. Nice reversal by Yvel. We used to use that Americana for the sweep in Relson jiujitsu all the time. That was slick. Rothwell showed some real heart in taking that punishment from Gilbert.
