Real good fight, better then expected. Although I kind of expected someone to get KOed haha o well.

 

Even with a rather measured third round - that was one of the best fights I've seen this year. I was surprised to see so many reversals from the two hard fighting heavyweights. I really thought Rothwell was out in that second round. I suppose a stoppage would have been premature seeing as how he went on to win the fight. What a fight. lol

 

How bad was the Danzig stoppage? Just started watching during the Rothwell fight.

 

I thought it was pretty bad.

 

I like both these fighters, both could use a win, Thiago to become a fringe contender, Kampmann to avoid dropping out of the conversation.

 

I do think Thiago is a very stereotypical Brazilian fighter whereas Kampmann is a stereotypical Euro fighter, although slightly less so.

 

Good first round. Kampman seemed to have him out with the guillotine at teh end of the round.

 

Not as exciting a fight as I thought it would be. Kampmann by UD.

 

Nobody called that one. Not as exciting as the previous fights, but still a good fight I thought. More technical than all out brawl.

 

I agree Grievesy. That was a very technically sound match on the part of both men. Kampman was sharp on his feet and somehow wound up dominating the ground action as well.

 

This has been a great card so far.

The Danzig stoppage was a clear and blatant mistake by the ref.

 

Crocop owning the 2nd round. What heart to come back from those 2 knockdowns -- those were huge shots

 

Pat Barry looks look he could finish this fight easily in the first few minutes, and then he just quit throwing for the next round +. :think
