I'm telling you man, people just don't like Supernaturals, everytime a Supernatural gets a great win, the opponent is always a bum. But then they'll forgive a bum like Valero for struggling with C class fighters, or forgive any random name, it's the oddest thing possible. Arce's a bum, Soto's a bum and now Kessler is just 'solid'.
I think the 20 point bonus adds a dimension to the game though, you have to be really skilled to pick weekly straight winner shutouts.
Sometimes yes, many times no. There are a lot of instances where people generally pick 4 out of 5 fights the same way, but disagree on a close big fight. That fight ends up being worth 30+ points to the winners, which I don't think is really fair. Maybe everyone could discuss all this stuff before you start the new league and people could vote on it? BTW, did you lay anything down on Arce-Singsurat under 6.5 rounds this weekend? Shockingly, the odds started off at -150! I was expecting to put a pretty large sum if it was anywhere in the -200s, but this is just amazing. I don't remember such a guaranteed early KO ever being this low. The best recent one that compares might be Allan Green vs the 40+ year old glass chinned journeyman Woods on ESPN. I think the odds on the under were in the lower -100s and Green stopped him in the first minute.
Yes, I put 500$ on the under 6.5 prop and caught it at -140! I also put 200$ on the Forrest under 11.5 at +250. So hopefully that'll give me some extra money to play on Mayweather by TKO next weekend, which is an ABSURD, 5/1.
Magnum has more accomplishments, thus being a big name, since you're an unknown, you don't matter, just like in the corrupt sport of boxing.:rofl
