Barrera UD Pacquiao is more of a heart pick than a smart pick, but I like MAB too much to go against him.

 

I'm shocked to see how many people are picking him in here and I've been saying recently that I'm not giving Barrera a very good chance to even last 12 rounds in this match, but the closer the fight gets the more I keep feeling that an insanely motivated Barrera will somehow decision a Pacquiao who's not completely focused. At the same time, my brain is telling me that even a 75% focused Pacquiao should beat a faded Barrera.

If this was anybody other than MAB I would go with the smart pick. But I just feel like he could somehow pull of this huge upset. ****, anything could happen. You felt extremely confident putting money on Pavlik last week just like I did, but then the 2nd round happened and I was going nuts thinking the impossible was about to happen. It's very possible that Barrera could outbox Pacquiao for the first 7-8 rounds and then survive somehow in the later rounds.

Anyways the risk will cost me around 40 points at most and won't matter in the long run. The win will make me way ahead on points and I'll be celebrating MAB's victory forever. Lets go Marco Antonio Barrera!! :happy

BTW, aren't you picking Holyfield over Ibragimov in 2 weeks?

Damn, I was hoping you and a lot of other people were going to pick Holyfield to win. I don't think he will last more than 5 rounds and seeing him get knocked all over the place will be really sad. Also, to get the decision he would need to win 8-9 rounds so that is pretty much out of the question. The only good thing is that it's Ibragimov and not Wlad that's going to be finishing him.
