Can't change once the matches are put up and people have placed predictions, like I said, if you have your requests in advance, then get them to me before the thread goes up on monday.

Thanks all. Such things warms an old heart... It was "just" a bad case of food poisoning. Sorry my brother gave you some "worries"(and he is even a medical student - but he meant well).
****....:-( I once got food poisining the day BEFORE THANKSGIVING. Spent the biggest party night of the year here in the hospital with an IV. Was only able to digest a piece of toast, the next day:fire
:yikes - thats double crappy. Not only that - thinking of the awful "soup" you have to digest(at least thats what they serve in Denmark). I bet you ate alot of turkey the next Thanksgiving. I have missed alot of Kessler-Calzaghe threads, and thats almost as bad:rofl:rofl:rofl; poor us, C Money.
Well i guess we know what to blame this weeks Byrd pick on That cost ya 20 pts this week Some big weeks and Huki's killing **** right now.
:rofl:rofl - I thought it was time for an "upset":rofl. If you don't risk it, you will never strike "lucky".:good Needless to say though - damn that Byrd:rofl.
It surprises me that people want to gain on others by looking to predict an upset and in the process reversing one of their own thought-out picks...in my view this cannot but be a recipe for disaster. The only way to gain and stay ahead is to pick the picks that are most likely to win and hope that other pickers slip up or take unnecessary risk. Welcome back, DanePugilist!
Yeah, that's basically my strategy. I never switch a pick based on extraneous factors. Usuallly works well enough.
It's important to follow some rules when starting to bet real money... You should only start betting once you know what you're doing...(once you consistently pick them right) You should never bet more than a couple of quid at the beginning and never start off with more than 20-40 dollars in your betting account. You should never add more money to your betting account after you put in the initial stake. Never ever. You only bet from betting profits, not from your wages. You should pay off your initial stake as soon as you double it. Thus, you end up betting only with betting profits - if you lose it all: no problem. You should never add more money to your betting account. If you lose all your profits, that is it...stop betting forever...you don't know what you are doing. This is the most important rule. You should never bet more than a third of your total account on any one fight/in any one session. You should never chase your losses. Nor should you change your betting strategy after a loss, taking bigger and bigger risks to make up the money. It is stupid. You will just lose more money. If you follow these rules, and you only bet with your head, dispassionately, without getting a thrill out of it and only to make money...you should be fine! If you start getting hooked on betting, even if you keep winning, take your wins and stop betting altogether. You don't want to become an addict and ruin your life. :good
