ESB Rankings - Feb FOTM & No.1 SMW Vote Results

    This is what i would change:

    No Ruiz in the top 10, Thompson takes the #9 spot, Adamek stays 10th.

    Erdei ranked at CW instead of LHW. I have him 4th there. Yoan Pablo, Drozd, Ramirez are too high for me. Fragomeni 5th, Afolabi 6th, BJ 7th is what i would say. 8-13 are dead even amongst the three guys mentioned above + Lebedev, Godfrey and Ross.

    LHW is a pick'em between fighters here and there, but i pretty much agree with it.

    I can't see Abraham ahead of Froch at SMW and i think Dirrell is too high. Miranda instead of Green, perhaps?

    I have Sergio as the #1 LMW instead of a MW, but that's minor. I have Sylvester ahead of Gevor.

    Lukas Konecky waaaay to high at LMW. I don't even have him in the top 10. I also have Angulo, Latimore, Spinks and Vanes ahead of Rhodes.

    WW is pretty much how i have it.

    So is LWW.

    Most of the lower divisions i don't know too much about, but i would have Joyi ahed of Nietes at SW.

    i get the feeling if we did a vote where you placed people 1,2,3,4 Froch would be higher. Froch is under rated in general.

    I think Ruiz is to high but deserves top 10. Hes a former champ and been in there with allot of decent guys and been competative (even if it looked ****). Once Haye sparks him he will be gone for good. Thompson would be 11th.

    Ramirez has been dropped from 4th to 8th i think.

    Eredi had 1 fight at Cruiser then imediatley vacated his title and said he was going back to light heavy. as cruiser was a one off I put him back there. Martinez last fight, and next fight is at middle so i put him there. He was number 1 before and would be eligable for the ESB title at light middle even if he looses to KP.

    We did a vote for the top 4 at super middle so had to go by that. i tend to agree.

    Agree with you about LK. Will change. Rhodes unefeated at LMW and Moore win was impressive. If Angulo and the others put together some good wins they will go ahead (unless Rhodes does something equally imprsessive)

    I think Danny Geale deserves to be ranked at MW and Winky doesnt.

    Geale lost a very close decision in what was a tremendous fight with the No.6 ranked guy and isnt rated in the top 10, while Winky who hasnt won a MW fight in AGES, gets absolutely dominated by Williams who was moving up and is still rated 8th.

    Apart from that the rankings look very good :good

    I agree that Donaire should be co-champ with Vic Darchinyan. Many rate Donaire's victory over Vic as a fluke...i for one do not!! Vic has put together a better run since their fight though, but Doniare is still young. Should they meet again I believe we will see the same result.

    if we have co champions were going down the same route as the WBA and all the other crap belts and rankings. Darchinyan has said his next fight will be donaire, and if it isnt he will go to bantamweight premaritally. so this year were gonna get it sorted.

    I actually couldn't agree more, i guess i just feel Donaire has been slightly hard done by here :)

    Hopefully the rematch gets made soon!
