WBA Cruiserweight champion Guilermo Jones was not ranked due to almost 2 years inactivity. Now that he has returned with an 11 round TKO win over Valery Burdov where does Jones rank at Cruiserweight?

Lebedev should be higher. I'd swap him and Wlod around. Herelius is a bit high aswell. Jones should probably be between 3-5.

I didn't see the fight, but he appeared to be winning quite handily before the stoppage. So I'd say around 5. Wasted talent. He could have ruled the division if he didn't fight once every 2 years.

    8.

You can make a case for him being beyond Alafoabi, but because not over Frenkel. Not after 2 years of nothing.

He's quite a good Cruiser, but I wasn't too impressed with him last night. Don't forget he was fighting a "bum basher" in Brudov, who's best win was against DeAndrey Abron ( http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=272819&cat=boxer ). The only other 2 times he "stept up" he lost both times.

I know Jones was rusty, but there were quite a few close rounds and he lost a few also. The stoppage looked premature because the doctor had given the OK (although Brudovs face looked badly beaten up) to continue.

But in this weak division he should be at 5 I think. We'll see what happens if he fights Frenkel, BJ or something (in about 2 years)

Talent wise he`s probably number 5, but I`d put him at 7 because of inactivity.

You gotta put Ramirez and Alekseev in that list, specially if you are ranking the likes of Licina.

Hard to say. He was very impressive 2 years ago beating top3 CW Arslan, but took 2 years to defend his belt, once again looking good according to the reports. But in the meantime, the other guys were busy, so I'd say he's 5th behind #1 Huck (did lose to Cunningham but winning impressively ever since), #2 Cunningham (lost to Adamek, looked bad vs. Ross), #3 Wlodarczyk and #4 Lebedev.

Six. The guy Herelius beat (Arslan) was just as inactive as Jones, and head to head, I just think Jones is better.

also, I would strongly consider dropping Wlodarczyk a spot or two after his tight victory over Jason Robinson. 1 - 5 are all pretty tight though and could be in almost any order.

5th, just barely. Though I suspect Ross or Frenkel would beat him if they got him in the ring.
