More pertinantly why is Garcia #2?

Why is Garcia #2 contender for the title?

    Don't make no sense.

he was the number 1 ranked fighter for a year but didnt have a fight. so he is not in the top 10, but if he came back and fights Pacquiao he will become ESB Champ.

I voted for Pongsaklek who became The Ring and (once again) the legitimate World Flyweight Champion, buying the HOF ticket in the process, definitely outshining other competitors in March.

Alexander is 2nd for his big KO win in a light welterweight unification and Dirrell is close 3rd with his boxing lesson over Abraham.

The upcoming fighter of the month will be much harder to pick! Good times coming for a boxing fan.

He can't be P4P top ten and behind four other fighters that weigh the same as he does in the divisional rankings...

the p4p is out of date.......and you can be in the P4P and still be ranked behind other fighters in a division.

In december last year, Mosley was number 1 Welterweight, Pacquiao number 2. Pacquaio was number 1 P4P.

Pacquiao was seen as between divisions, the highest he'd ever weighed in was 144lbs and he had fought at 130, 135 and 140 within the previous 21 months whereas Mosley is a legitimate welter who had fought at LMW. That's justifiable.

But when you have two fighters that clearly are the same size you can't rationally have one of them rated higher in their weight division and the other rated higher P4P.
