Rumor has it that Magsayo has not re-sign with ALA promotion. He is in Manila training and looking for a promoter. I don't blame the kid ALA is a mediocre gym. With the same trainers. Also ALA boys is in clash with fellow Filipinos.Sultan is fighting Ancajas and Nietes is ordered to fight Palicte for the vacant WBO title. A loss in these fights will put a nail in ALA gym. Hopefully MP promotions or Joven picks up Magsayo. Other option is Japan like Genesis Servania.

Haven't watched it yet but here's the main event, Jade Bornea vs. Danrick Sumabong

Jade Bornea beat Kosei Tanaka in the amateurs. Not sold on Bornea at all based on what I've seen from his recent fights.

Somebody working on Clyde Azarcon vs. Bonjun Loperez results over at the encyclopedia? I didnt get a chance to sleep before the Moonsuree vs. Estrada card so had to pass out as soon as it ended.

Yeah sure, not like there's a tape delayed broadcast coming up where knowing the result beforehand would constitute a spoiler, right?

    Looking forward to it.

A few days later there are multiple Pinoys in action co-headlining a nationally televised US card on ESPN2 in California.

Romero Duno takes on Gilberto "El Flaco" Josué González (who last fought thirteen months ago, losing a war to Mercito Gesta) while deluxe journeyman Rey "The Sindangan Technician" Pérez, fresh off his upset of Chimpa González in February, takes on the unbeaten Óscar Duarte Jurado - both 10-rounders @ lightweight. Both of those are 50-50 contests, Team PI could go 2-0 just as easily as Team Mexico.

So sad, I'm most likely going to miss the Barriga fight and the second half of the card (if we somehow find a way to stream it) because of work. A Barriga win is a given but I rarely get to watch live Filipino boxing from the Philippines. I might have to sneak away from work for a little bit lol
