I don't know who runs this website but it would be pretty cool if there was a scorecard section for notable fight cards. 3 Columns, 2 for scoring each rd and the third column for round notes. Also maybe 2 multiple choice options for what kind of announcing and what setting you watched the fight (HBO announcing, Foreign announcing, or no sound at all...PPV Live, on-demand or DVD, or an interent source like youtube). It would be nice to have all this info readily available for each user and I know I would use it. Thoughts?
then we could sift out those who cant score fights and those too biased to know how to score a fight. Like those who scored DLH-Mayweather a draw, those who had Margo beating Williams, Wright DOMINATING Taylor/Vargas, etc.
the software they use to run the board is a common software, it isnt custom made. That would be a nice feature, but I dont know how flexible the forum software is and if that would even be possible using their current setup.
So if the forum software is generic...would someone need to write code for this? Or is it possible to create such a thing given the forum software itself?
I'd love to have this option added, but I doubt that most would use it..... ......a great % of this forum dont even score fights, but have the audacity to jump on a thread and yell robbery when talking of a close fight!:-( ....then again, having a scorecard option may encourage the forum to score while watching. I'm for it!:good
There should be a virtual fight code added as well. This way I can reach through the cyber world and punch you guys in your ugly acne filled faces
They are referring to a program of such on the site where you can go on and view, like an interactive thing. NOt just a downloadable scorecard butthead, I can make my own on Microsoft excel atsch :good
this is the greatest idea yet... As a matter of fact, this is probably the best thread on these boards in a long time. Too bad I don't know if they would ever be able to implement it. Maybe if they add a feature linking to another website, made by one of us for doing exactly what has been talked about on this thread. We could score the fights and it stays on that database. Maybe not even, just make like a generic spreadsheet that works like a scorecard and users just post their cards
I wasnt making a 1 on 1 statement between you and I, more a generalization that you might "judge a poster by the Avatar' or " "a book by its cover" and be suprised just having fun with it. I wouldnt punch you either, i'd be far to busy with others
