fighters of the month: 1. Jean Pascal 2. Sergio Martinez 3. Tim Bradley Malignaggi gets an honourable mention
Well, others disagree so you'll have to take that into account as well. Hatton hasn't fought in ages and won't for some time yet either. It's only fair that others who have earned their ranking by staying active go ahead of him. Even still, his resume is better than Cloud's. Cloud's ranking is unjustified. I mentioned Martinez as being number 1 now as well and say he should be there. I still think Phillips should be above the protected featherfist Foreman, though. Santiago makes sense over Mtagwa as well. And you're right- Casa isn't an active 135lbr anymore.
Losfer Hatton/Bradley - Hatton has only been inactive for 7 months. We all agreed a 1 year period is the amount of time you need to be out of action for to be removed. Bradley has earned his place above Hatton but he does not deserve Championship status especially when you consider Holt is the only top 10 fighter he beat since Witter (Peterson was not ranked until after the fight, Campbell was coming up in weight). Championship status is only for the top a guy that is 100% number 1 in a division by beating the champion or beating another top 3 guy. Johnson/Cloud - Agreed. Will make the change. Martinez is now number 1. Phillips, Dzindziruk and Mora have all been inactive for over a year so are out.
Agree with Bradley not being champ. Also agree with Santago over Mtagwa..... Anyone else think Linares should not be at 6 in SFW rankings.....he got decimated in 1 round by someone not close to top 10 and his 2 previous SFW opponents were crap...Id move him down to 9 at the very least....possibly out for Baloyi?
this would happen in most divisions but Super Feather is so weak if you take out linares your ranking guys like Ricky Burns
