This was the Eastside Boxing Super Middleweight top 15 before Andre Ward vs Allan Green last night. When is ran a poll at the end of last year Bute was just ahead of Ward in the vote (which at that time included Froch and Abraham). Please vote on who you think is the number 1 ranked Super Middleweight, also where would you place Allan Green after last night.

No question about it, its Andre Ward. Lucian Bute shouldnt even be ahead of Kessler, he is waay overrated in my opinion. But when its all said and done, I might as well call Andre Ward the most boring boxer on the planet (of course Wlad klitschko should be on that list too)

Who has Bute fought to allow him to be number one? That is absurd.

I will rank him number 1 if he fights and wins against the Super Six champ. But that is a long way away.

really if you think Ward is boring maybe you need to go to MMA. Surely you appreciate the skill level. anyone can get in there and brawl like Gatti.

I have Bute at #1, but there's very little in it. I wouldn't find Ward at #1 upsetting at all, personally.

    Ward!!!
Bute should no way be at number 1. Froch, kessler, AA and dirrell would all be undefeated if they faced Bute's opponents. We will no more about bute once he gets in the ring with a super 6 opponent (I suspect he will fight some1 who doesn't make the semi finals).

Ward beat THE man at SMW (kessler) and reaffirmed how good he was against an albeit out of form green.

Ward and I have no hesitation in stating it. He does everything really well, not great but he's still quite young.

Get outta here man. Im a big Floyd Mayweather jr fan because of his skills, but you have never in your life seen Floyd fight dirty like Ward does. I hate the hitting and holdingh style, call it what you want. I think its boring.

Ward is a wide leader now.

Bute was the leader in the last vote.

The difference is this victory over Green...Green was the #8 ranked contender and Bute shut him out, so I don't think the criticism the win is recieving is anything like fair, but I do question as to whether or not this win makes a short #2 to a clear #1. Seems odd.

I'm a fan of Bute and I'll vote for him. I think it's very close...not like the poll is showing and I want to see Lucian at #1 but would not mind if Ward is placed there

Both of them are quite talented and both of their resumes are pretty close. No vote from me, too close to call.
