It is Ward .. easily. Even if you are a gimp non-athlete and can't assess talent (i.e., 98% of ESB) you have to pick Ward at this point.

    Ward dominated Kessler.

    Ward dominated Green.

Kessler and Green essentially put in the same performance with the same result.

Kessler managed to land 125 out 431 thrown.
Ward pounded him with 225 out of 667 thrown.

Green managed to land 148 out of 329 thrown.
Ward pounded him with 267 out of 520 thrown.

Kessler managed to land only 47 power shots out of 151 thrown.
Ward hammered him with 132 powershots out of 330 thrown.

Green (at least) managed to land 131 power shots out of 268 thrown.
Ward hammered him with 214 power shots out of 350 thrown.

Kessler has looked like a crash test dummy in his last two fights and could only go 11 against Ward.

    Green went the distance.

There is no material difference in Green and Kessler.

All the weak opposition Mikkel defeated in his career is irrelevant at this point. Mikkel was nearly destroyed by Andre Ward - RECENTLY. Ward has momentum and is only getting better with increasing ring confidence. Green did similarly - RECENTLY. No DIFFERENCE. Now they can apply their similar fortunes against each other. Green doesn't have to fight Kessler's prior record - merely the guy who took the same beating he did from Ward. Flip a coin at this point.

Kessler is gonna have to fight significantly better than he did versus club foot Froch or you can expect a very close fight again (of course, the right hometown venue could tip the scales as to a decision).

    ---------------

Bute has been in position to make a statement longer (starting his pro career 1 year earlier and winning a belt two years earlier) than Ward but instead defends his ice rink title repeatedly (apparently he subconsciously desires to emulate Joe Calz - Cardiff Rink Champ).

So far Bute has fought absolutely no one. Andrade is a near complete and utter bum. The skill level of all Bute's opponents (Berrio, Zuniga, Miranda, Bika, Andrade) has been quite deficient & pointedly similar - some power .. but poor to average or modest ability and unexceptional ring aptitude. It isn't hard to look good when your competition or opposition is far from talented.

I'd like to believe that Lucian beats both Kessler and Froch. He has good competitive size and appears to give away nothing athletically to them.

Still, at this point, he likely gets DOMINATED by Ward. Catching an Andrade or a Miranda and the other guys on his ledger is no prep for Ward. And, Ward at 26 years of age isn't quite prime or peak yet.

Winning a war over Kessler and Froch would at least be a statement on Bute's skills and heart. So far, he hasn't really demonstrated either attribute on any kind of live body.

Ward, on the other hand, has dominated two decent fighters and made them both look somewhat or rather inferior.

You`re busted in you own answer.

The question IMPLIED NOT HOW MANY FIGHTS BUT HOW MANY VICTORIES WITH NOT BUMPS.

Green lost to Ward and even Miranda so BUTE IS WAY AHEAD HIM.

Kessler`s resume has an edge over Bute`s indeed. But until Froch fight (wich was hardly taken) he`s best victory was a 12 round with Andrade.

"green is not an easy guy to stop" ? Really? If Miranda would have had 10-15 seconds, Miranda would have KO`ed him.

what don`t you you say this about Miranda himself? Oh, let me guess:pavlik, AA and Bute stoped him but your Ward didn`t?

Buddy, Not Green is hard to stop, Ward can`t stop the top guys and you know it.

If you think this way, Berrio is beter than Simms (titlelist then) and Andrade even more better.

Don`t change horses in the middle of the river. I soppose you score the non bumps fights. Undefeated is relevant?
