errr, obviously you're not a big-picture type of guy... overall rankings are not predicated on just a single fight, but a series of performances versus multiple opponents, win and lose, knockout and decisions. Not everything is cut and dry, black and white.

Even though Buster Douglas had his day with Mike Tyson, AND got the belt - are you saying that Buster Douglas is better than Mike Tyson then? According to your logic, thats what you seem to be saying to me...

 

Ward's victory over Kessler was garbage.

 

And against Green was even worse.

 

He was at that point.

Rankings are a point time, and good for that point in time.

At that point in time Douglas WAS better than Tyson, he proved it.

So how would a fighter get a title shot in your world?

Fighter A is 20-5 and beats fighter B who was 30-0. Does fighter B still get the first shot at the title becuase his record is still better??

err, im assuming you're predicting a KO vs Carl Froch on Sept 16?
Right now he's got 1win and 1loss in the Super6 tournament.
He gets 2points for the win and another point for the KO/TKO.
Officially he has 3 points at this moment.
Andre Ward has 4 points for 2 wins.
Andre Dirrell has 2 points for 1 win
Carl Froch has 2 points for 1 win
Mikkel Kessler has 2 points for 1 win
and lastly, Allen Green has 0 points. Even if there was a rule for him to garnish Jermain Taylor's points as his substitution, it still would be 0, lawlz

So my guess is he was counting AA's DQ of Dirrel as another 3 points because in his deluded eyes he should have been credited with a ko.

I know the official scoring very well. I said that he practically had 6 points.

I am not predicting a KO versus Froch. I meant the Abraham v Dirrell fight which should have been a KO for Abraham. I know that officially Abraham has 3 points but he should have 6 points if it were fair and just. Dirrell was losing the fight and he started falling apart. So in my book Abraham has 6 points.

going with that - imo that was a real pitiful ending of what could have been Andre Dirrell's greatest victory. That was an intentional cop-out move by AA, and Dirrell showed he doesnt have a heart of a champion by using AA's cop-out out of a clean victory against him...

 

Green is a horrible fighter and should have been ko'ed / Tko'ed in Ward's case.

You cannot win rounds leading with your head, spending hours on the ropes poking someone. He would not have won that rounds fighting outside of his backyard. Only in his backyard he wins those rounds with dirty tactics. That's why he refuses to fight outside of the comfort of his backyard.
