I like Hearns just fine. I just don't trust his chin. How many actually do? Dempsey, meh. I just acknowledge his greatness.

Cuevas is fantastically overrated though. He's basically a 5th rate version of Olivares. Hearns beating Cuevas is on par with Trinidad beating Campas. Both taxi cab assassins that were beaten down whenever they stepped up.

 

i don't think hearns chin is all THAT bad. he got stopped on his feet in the 14th against leonard ffs and came in drained to boot. aboot his fight with hagler... not too many have the chin to pull off the strategy he did. it was risky as ****, but the only way he could've won, which speaks to tommy's abilities. barkley was past-prime hearns, eh.

Cuevas? Whats so wrong with feeling he is overrated? For being as lauded as he is there is not one B+ fighter on his ledger.

Gotta agree with you with everything. Since we are talking @ WW and he was weight drained and ran out of gas against SRL (many people had him ahead or a draw at that time of the stoppage). his other shaky moments happened @160 and above.
