    I am 100% confident that Cotto takes this fight, but:

    1) I think it goes the distance

    2) I see the judges scoring being off because of Margo throwing more punches and therefore giving him a few free rounds (I've been seeing this a lot lately)

    3) I see Cotto opting to trade more often than most people think. He will want to make a statement for this fight and will try in the mid-rounds to go for the t/ko by standing and trading but he will not get it, then Margo will come on strong late therefore nullifying my previous "Cotto by late t/ko" pick.

    Hows that for over-analyzing and easy fight to pick? :lol:

    I'm still weighing on two options.

    a) Cotto will come out winning the first five rounds, but Margarito will be strong.. so Cotto starts backpedaling more and more like in the Mosley fight, boxing Margarito, winning a UD 10-2/8-4 or something like that.

    b) Cotto comes out strong, Margarito engages with him like a true warrior, Cotto tearing him up due to technical superiority, given the edge Cotto TKOs Margarito late.


    Cotto is simply elite, Margarito is very good.. but not elite.

    Freddywak knows this, that is why we haven't seen any posts from him regarding this fight :D
