Anyone can join the league at any time, even late. In order to give late starters a chance to compete fairly, they will start in the middle of the pack, at the median position, out of those who have participated every week.

If for some reason you miss a week and you are in the top 25 in the league, you will maintain your points' difference over the picker who ends up one spot above the spot you had, for one week only. Everyone has 3 lives (will be "saved" up to three times). This, to ensure top pickers are not demotivated by their failure to pick one week.

This week only, everyone who failed to pick have had their score recalculated by taking the average score for that week of the picker above them in the rankings and the picker below them. As a result, some pickers who have not taken part have scored more than some who have picked Klitschko by stoppage, because some other pickers have correctly picked Klitschko by wide decision.

If, by common consensus, a clear robbery might have occured, a review panel made up of brooklyn1550, kg0208, sean, McGrain and sues2nd will decide whether the result should be overruled for the purposes of our league. Unless they all agree unanimously that it was a robbery, we go by official results.

Some here feel very strongly one way or another about whether we should have a clean sweep system in place.

A "clean sweep" is bonus points offering for picking all the correct winners one week.

Amsterdam used to run 5 fights every week in his prediction league last year. If you called the winner right in all 5, whether you called the decision/stoppage correctly or not, you would get an extra 20 points added to your week's score, for being consistent. It's probably inspired by the five-fold multiple bet option odds in betting.

The vote we had on the subject was inconclusive. I have decided to apply a clean sweep system for weeks with 5 fights or more. The clean sweep bonus will be 20 points.

This league is intending to run big fights only. However, what I consider to be a big fight might not be what everyone else considers a big fight so I've decided to give everyone the opportunity to vote whether certain match-ups should be run the following week on top of the big fight I select.

Please vote in the poll whether we should run only the Haye v. Maccarinelli, Diaz v. Campbell and Maskaev v. Peter fights, or whether we should add the Naito v. Pongsaklek Wonjongkam and Kraj v. Godfrey to the list too, for next week.
