No, I can just give you the average for that week. Everyone basically got the same score last week anyways (only 1 person picked Santos and most picked Klitschko by mid-rounds KO).

I said I would never believe Toney is getting back into shape after the second Peter fight, but for some reason he's starting to convince me again. Don't know if I'll change my pick though.. as a Toney fan I've been let down too many times and I'm expecting to be disappointed again.

Cool. My pick would have been Wlad by late ko so its a bummer I missed it (just like my Wlad UD Sultan pick dammit!)

And yeh I just have a tough time betting on Toney; his track record hasn't been that great in the past few years. Too tough of a fight to bet much on imo though (real $$$ wise)

On another note have you seen the Casa/JMM odds? :yikes
That is crazy.....actually I gotta PM you for this one

Betting on Toney-Rahman is pure gambling, unless there are some big surprises during the weighin.

Yeah, I already have Casa in some parlays. Those odds aren't going to be that great for long IMO, so I would get Casa bets in now. I don't know if I'll put more on him though.. I want to enjoy the fight and cheer for Marquez. It's 55/45 Marquez IMO.

I'm gonna go sleep now, I'll try to answer your PM if you send one tomorrow night.. only about 10 days until the Cotto fight! :D

BTW, is Gamboa-Rojas definitely happening on Friday?

    what! no povetkin fight?!?

    The Bull SD Povetkin

    jk ;)

both toney and rahman are beyond shot but james still has some sklill and finally got his weight down. rahman looked awful against lawrence...he's really on his last legs. toney has faced the #2 hw pretty recently and while he was badly outpointed in the second fight, he had some good moments. while rahman hasn't fought anyone with a pulse since oleg knocked his ass out again. i really wouldn't be surprised to see rahman get KTFO but....

    Toney UD close

Toney by TKO, the fact that Rahman couldnt put away Sykes, the same Syke's that was brutally knocked out by Peter in the 2nd round a few years back, is just disgraceful on his part, as well as getting rocked by him and Zuri "The Punching Bag" Lawrence makes it even worse.

Toney is by no means a great fighter anymore, but Rahman is completely shot and very lethargic looking in the ring. I think Toney will land his counters easily on overhand right crazy Rahman, which will help lead to Rahman gassing out setting up for Toney to get the TKO late in the fight. Toney wants it more and he will prove that tonite.

In my opinion there's only one way to view this fight... Rahman UD.

When was the last time Toney looked good in a fight? Was it the first fight with Sam Peter? Maybe. Was it the first fight with Rahman? No, Toney was lucky as **** to escape with a draw that night. Was it Guinn? Ruiz? Probably.

We're talking about a fighter who hasn't looked decent since '05-'06. He is now 40 and is even more washed. He doesn't have heavyweight power, especially at this juncture in his career, so I doubt he's capable of knocking out even a porcelain-chinned fighter like Rahman.

There's all this nostalgia about Toney's glory days around here. True, in his prime while fighting in the appropriate divisions he was amazing. That was several years and pounds ago. Stop drinking the "Lights Out Kool-Aid" and quit reminiscing about the fighter Toney once was. He's washed and a joke now.

Here's exactly how I see this fight panning out...

Toney will throw 12 punches a round and land 8 of them. Rahman will look like trash all night too, throwing significantly more punches, landing a moderate to low percentage of them, and not hurting Toney. It will be a boring fight in which neither fighter comes close to being hurt. Rahman will win a UD despite being unimpressive. Toney will swear he got robbed in the interview, claiming he was landing the cleaner and more effective punches. He won't have been nearly active enough to win hardly any rounds. He'll be doing his fake philly-shell defense, and while blocking a lot of Rahman's punches, he'll lose a wide UD off complete lack of work rate. I can already hear him crying about being robbed when Rahman will probably throw 3x as many punches and probably land 2x as many punches.

Bottom line: Toney won't be anywhere close to active enough and Rahman will win a wide UD in what will be considered a boring ass fight. I'm not a Toney hater either, I don't really care much for either fighter but I think Toney is a joke and washed, moreso than Rock.

Yes Gamboa/Rojas is on for friday :happy

Gutierrez is the bout before hand, and we get to have Vai Sikahema in studio talking about his bout with Canseco; should be a nice entertaining freak show :rofl

Can't wait to see my boy Gamboa again though :yep

I think Rahman won the first fight. Hasim should have the jab working and he knows this is his last real chance. He can KO Toney since he has better punching technique than Peter and similar power.

Toney has slipped a bit with his reaction timing so his defense isn't what it used to be. I don't think he ever had enough power to KO Rahman and he def. doesn't have it now.

Rahman by close, possibly Split Decision.
