Yes, and that's overrating him. However, there are some people who think he isn't any good at all and that's worse IMO.
Joe C Not because he's not a great fighter, just because he's rated as being up there as one of the best of this generation... Not for me, even after an old Hops win.
paul williams (maybe not anymore though) juan diaz andre berto michael katsidis wlad should have made a poll out of this one
Haye is a good fighter but the explosion of people making him a firm favourite for Saturday can't have watched his whole career. Probably the same people who assumed Mormeck was gonna beat him beacause they hadn't seen anything of Haye up until that point
So your saying that he doesn't deserve the #2 or #3 p4p ranking everyone gives him. Where do you put him and who do you put above him?
Most sensible people aren't so high on Peter anymore since his pathetic showing against McCline. Klitschko support is realistic, Calzaghe deserves his praise, for everyone who licks PBF's nuts there's someone who hates him, and I see more posts about how bad pacman's nuthuggers are than actual pac nuthugger posts. So the winner is David Haye.
Cardstars I would have Pacquiao behind. Mayweather Marquez Calzaghe Hopkins Calderon Cotto. I think that since his first fight with Morales he has not been matched to hard. Id maybe even give him his due for stopping Morales in #2 but since then Larios (too small), Morales (shot by 3rd fight), Solis (who), Barrera (past it and just wanted to last the full 12). In this time he has steadily risen up to number 2 in the Ring PFP rankings. Dont get me wrong he is PFP top ten for sure but I think number 2 is too high. I also think his massive fanbase and the fact that he could fight any can and it would be made high profile help him as well. He may prove me wrong on the 15th but I think Marquez will outclass him.
I don't think Peters had a pathetic showing. He got caught early in the fight 3 times. And he was hurt. But Mcline didn't do SQUAT besides the knockdowns. And the scorecards showed it.
