I don't thin Jones should be #1. he is the best since Whitaker, but his greatest wins, Toney, Hopkins, and Hill all happened before '98. So did his wins over Mccallum and Griffith. Hopkins doesn't get credit for the obliteration of Glen Johnson because it was in '97, so Mayweather should really be #1. Then B-Hop, Jones, Trinidad, Pacquiao, Barrera, Mosley, Morales and on. De La Hoya lost all his big fights. honestly, i would have put him in the top 3-4 before i saw the Trinidad fight, everyone acts like it was a robbery and i thought it was. But at the very best he won 7-5, and i had it a draw the first time i saw it, then turned off the sound and have scored it 7-5 for Trinidad every time. He did however beat Mosley in their rematch, that was a bad decision. Lewis also is hurt by the cut-off date. One question: who's #11, Calzaghe or Tszyu?

    What a list!!

Great work, I'll probably have to sit down and read through it properly to see whether I agree with rankings, but off the top of my head I cant think of anyone that should be there that isnt or is there that shouldnt be!

    Great work

When RING made their championship policy in 2002, Jones had all of the belts, because Michelweski was stripped for not fighting top contenders. He was still the lineal champ though, dating back to the unification between Hill and Maske. However, Michelweski lost to Julio Gonzales, who was outclassed by Jones before that fight, and RJJ was the P4P king, that's why the RING called Jones the champion. That's why Calzaghe should fight until he loses, the man who beats him can fight Zsolt Erdei to get it all on the same page.

uhh... Mayweather has 15 ko's/tko's since 1998.... why is that hard to believe.

Ricky Hatton, Arturo Gatti, Sharmba Mitchell, Henry Bruseless, Phillip N'Dou, Jesus Chavez, Diego Corrales, Emanuel Augustus, Carlos Gerena, Justin Juuko, Angel Manfredy, Genaro Hernandez, Miguel Melo, Sam Girard... all stopped by Money May.

mosley and calzaghe i think is not that far from each other resume wise..but i think mosley should be a bit above calzaghe in terms of all time status
