He doesn't take the fight, career suicide most likely.

He takes the fight, rightfully so, and gets money DESERVED since Broner was being a dick...but that doesn't change the fact that Escobedo had the right to be upset about Broner's disregard. I'd be ****ing pissed too even if my purse was nearly doubled. He probably worked his ass off to make weight.

Sorry, all the Broner dick riders can't understand some sense.

Escobedo didn't have to fight Broner if he would have told Broner **** off he would have been within his right to do so. However, he did indeed take the fight and got a career high payday to boot. He needs to take his loss like a man and enjoy that career high payday with his wife and new baby.

Back in the days there was no such thing as super featherweight it was featherweight or lightweight, I don't see why he's complaining.

 

yes escobedo should not have fought broner. his team actually was planning on it but you know how much pressure he could have received form GBP, HBo and haymon if he would not fight the guy who blatantly missed the weight. he might be receiving threats of not getting another fight or worst getting sued. there's no doubt that escobedo was pressured to fight.
