ESPN 2 FNF: Chris Avalos vs. Drian Francisco & Glen Tapia vs. Abraham Han RBR

This is difficult to score. Pinoy has scored many rounds differently from me, and I can see how. (but stand by my own)

Round 8

Francisco is bending his knees and waiting for Avalos, hands down, letting the jabs brush at his sideburns. Counter slap-hooks up top by Francisco. Avalos is putting uppercut and straight combos together, grinding into Francisco when taking breaks. Francisco looks very tired. Low blow by Francisco. Avalos reacts and Weeks gives him recovery time. Time in. Twenty seconds left. Avalos loops in a right on the belly. Left hook to the pec by Francisco slung up from a crouch. They exchange punches messily on the inside.

Round 9

Both are hooking, standing in close. Francisco shuffles back and loads up a right hand, catching Avalos on the way in. Double jabs by Avalos. Francisco is throwing low body hook feints and then changing it up by quickly hooking at the head. Sneaky veteran stuff by Francisco, drawing the lead from Avalos and then hitting & holding. Francisco leans in on Avalos and presses into him. Three punch combo by Francisco pushing off to create a little separation, just enough to get off before flopping back in and smothering Avalos. Left hooks and right uppercuts shown by Avalos, hitting arms. Sloppy infighting. Jab and slashing right by Francisco, just missing with the power shot. They flurry into each other at the bell.
