    Round 10

Francisco is heaving into Avalos, both arms held out. Avalos rips him with a left-right on the face. Francisco is suffering whenever Weeks spatulas them apart. Francisco does his best to stick to Avalos like glue while formulating a plan (or buying time if he is only looking to survive). Avalos shoves him back and tees off. Francisco is hurt, but is able to slump in and cling to Avalos briefly until Weeks gets in between them. Avalos shows doesn't know how to finish a cagey opponent although Francisco is ready to go. Francisco ducks against the ropes and shoeshines the body and sprays out hooks until the bell as Avalos bears down on him.

    10-9 Avalos

    96-94 Avalos

    Avalos is a wretched finisher.

Imagine he was in with a true spoiler? :-( Francisco is a brawler; he just happened to have the right instincts to hang on there.

Another pinoy boxer losing. I'm losing interest now little by little. Hope GGG makes it to the top 10 and give me reason to follow the sport.

I got this right, I'm a bit upset I didn't take a risk on Tapia who was pretty much a 50-50 fight.

This is worrying they only show Francisco's best punches.

Thanks IB, although the scoring was somewhat confusing to me. But I guess it was that kinda fight.
