Doesn't have to be PPV to be 'big'. A popular Mexican champ fighting on May 5 weekend playing second fiddle to an American to help make the event for someone else?

This is ESB. There seems to be no rules concerning this matter other than being a hater.

Floyd need a couple more mexicans on cinco de mayo lol,The big one just got away.I hope maidana/jossesito doesn't land on this lame card cause i'm not buying regardless just cause ponce/dirty mares is on(we all know who GB is favoring anyways, cough mares).Broner might help you sell a couple tickets & 1/20 brushes though, great salesman :good lol.

Great addition, won't have the same impact as Alvarez vs Trout, but a good addition just the same.

Now if we could just get Malinaggi out of his Abu Dabi date and get him and Broner on the card as well!

If Canelo's such a big draw in the US market (that actually buys PPVs), why isn't he headlining his own card?

If he was a big draw he'd be on PPV, trust.

Good fight for fight fans. Let's be honest though, besides hardcore fans Mares and PDL aren't well known. Canelo is more famous then both of them put together.
