ESPN and Teddy Atlas get behind the Transnational Boxiing Rankings Board (video)

You can't get a better stamp of approval in boxing, than Teddy Atlas. The ABCs and The Ring cannot be trusted. Good that Transnational Boxing Rankings have a wide demographic of panelist writers too.

I've just had a look at the rankings and they seem good for the most part. Some small things I would change, but nothing too major.

Denver Cuello not being ranked at minimumweight is a pretty big omission, though. He's arguably number one in the division...

 

Teddy is a voice of sanity in this sport and hopefully this can get us somewhere.

 

It's in fans own interests to support them - even if you have issues with some of the ratings. This is the best way to discredit the alphabets and all those who use their corrupt ratings for their own benefit. This should be priority number one.

Have FNF said that they will be using them like they have been with The Ring ratings?

Wonder how Dan Rafael feels? The network he works for would rather use rankings other than his own

 

I always wonder what Teddy makes of Dan. They do a good job of keeping them separate on FNFs I've noticed.

Or promoters bias.and strict guidelines so fighters can't be avoided or get an easy ride.

 

Teddy may have a giant screw loose but don't doubt for a second that he cares about our sport. He loves it and he wants to see it done justice.

 

Atlas is quality.

 

I noticed a certain US writer with a massive ego problem thumbed his nose at the TBR on twitter.
