Gvozdyk is circling rapidly to his right as Beterbiev dashes in with hard left hooks in succession. Gvozdyk blocking everything, then letting straight combos fly when Beterbiev is retracting his arms. Gvozdyk timing everything perfectly, using quickened double-time steps to make Beterbiev lunge and miss when he steps through with a high left jab, the ducking aside in case a power shot is to follow. Gvozdyk is boxing smart, constantly moving counter-clockwise, away from the power hand of Beterbiev. HUGE left hook swung and missed by Beterbiev, with Gvozdyk ducking just beneath it, and Beterbiev hammers down with a clubbing blow atop the head. Gvozdyk loses his balance, ruled a knockdown!! WHAT!

edit: during Round 2, after conferring with people at ringside the ref actually overturned his KD ruling, that was now a slip, hence no mandatory 10-8 for Beterbiev, so...

That is madness. That was a 10-9 Gvozdyk round, are you ****ing kidding me? Three point mother****ing swing. That was sloppy grappling, not a single clean punch scored legally.
