Obviously I'm not a fan of his at all but he's an intelligent chap and he has moments of great clarity sometimes.

Little secret. I've had a couple of dreams about Licky Lip Droopy Eye Dre, or rather he's appeared in a couple of my dreams before and we actually got on well until he karate kicked me in my chin. I can't remember what happened next but things definitely got violent lol

I'd have trouble believing the Gvozdyk we saw tonight loses to any other LHW in the world (currently). It was a battle between two legitimate champions... and sadly, one of them had to lose.

The sport of Boxing won tonight, because "the best fighting the best" is what this sport truly needs. However, I am still going to admit that I'm a little "down" that Gvozdyk lost tonight, despite being a fan of Beterbiev's since his debut. I knew this would be the case, regardless... because it always is when two of your favorites are fighting.

Just watched the fight I got my prediction right and also won some money but enough showing off haha.

I watched the fight with non English commentary witch a lot of times stops a person being swayed by the commentary also I went into the fight spoiler free.

thoughts on the fight, I thought Gvozdyk did a good job early circling the ring and clinching at the right times he also took center of the ring kept himself off the ropes witch was important and impressive.

Beterbiev was getting the left hook off well but he wasn’t setting up the right off the powerful jab it was lot of single punches also as we saw later in the fight them body shots really made a massive difference but he wasn’t going down to the body early enough.

the last couple rounds though he started tagging Gvozdyk to the body witch got gvodzyk backing up and the movement had gone at this point Artur at the point had him where he wanted him and upped the pressure Beterbiev showed a great gas tank also he took some flush rights and took them well so I hope the haters will now shut up about his chin.

I had the 9th a 10-8 round and Gvodzyk looked completely done at the point but Beterbiev did a great job of keeping up the pressure so late in the fight and not letting his pray off the hook.

Respect Gvozdyk, he showed amazing heart, he was so spent by round 10 and tried so hard to keep going

Wow! So much for beterbiev slowing and getting tired late in the fight, he’s like a machine!

I’m guessing the nails plan was to stay out of trouble and win on points nipping rounds on work rate but I think beterbiev realised there’s wasn’t much pop in his punches and just carried on with the onslaught

I think he beats kovalev now

Beterbiev took punches in there tonight that have put many of Gvozdyk's opponents down and out.

Now that is one guy I'd root for Beterbiev against, Kellerman is pure scum.

In fact, even after this loss, Gvozdyk vs. Bivol and even Gvozdyk vs. Kovalev are still interesting fights to make. I hope Gvozdyk will draw conclusions from today's fight and improve.

Shut your mouth, quit being so melodramatic, not every violent KO results in an in ring death. You're not going to exploit his death as a truncheon to beat people into line with. If anyone is sick it's you, for taking it there. You're on a site with men who root for people to get KO'd daily, I don't think all of them need to include trigger warnings to explain, "as long as it doesn't kill someone," because we think it would be classless to go there to begin with. It's quite obvious to anyone with two functioning brain cells that that isn't anyone's desired outcome, ever.

Rightfully so. The people on this RBR were far too generous to Beterbiev, in rounds he barely landed anything in. The people who didn't have Gvozdyk winning the vast majority of the first five rounds, are delusional.

Beterbiev ground him down and broke him down. Some brilliant, awkward bodyshots from Beterbiev. Reminds me of the old bare knuckle plexus shots.

Also, underrated defense from Beterbiev. Not a savant by any means, but Gvodzyk landed less and less frequently as the bout went on, particularly with his jab. Reminds me of those tank Thai fighters.
