That’s why he retired when Beterbiev/Gvozdyk/Bivol come on the scene citing a long career.

Yet wants to come out of retirement for the smaller Canelo if he beats Kovalev.....

 

To add to the complication, there's also the possibility that Artur toes the line and puts up a good front in regards to supporting Kadryov because Chechen Kadryov critics tend to wind up dead, and sometimes their families as well. Being a well known sportsman probably paints him in to a corner given his visibility.

 

The nail vs bivol is bit more of an interesting fight now

 

I had it 5 - 4 for Beterbiev going in to the tenth.

I was trying to be generous to Gvozdyk in close rounds.

Beterbiev was landing the far more telling punches throughout. He was more or less walking through Gvozdyk's punches.

Beterbiev was putting a lot of hurt on Gvozdyk, and even though Gvozdyk was landing lots on Beterbiev, his shots were less effective.

 

You are one racist piece of ****. It's a damn shame that you are even allowed to come back repeatedly and post, after being banned multiple times for spewing filth. I know it hurt you more than CST80 to see your EE boy toy Crushed by the Muslim Caucasian. I don't think it will hurt you two as bad as Ward outboxing Kovalev in the first fight, and then making him his ***** in the second fight though, although they both had their body's turned into baby food after a few rounds. I bet you wish you could run into the ring and give Gvodzyk a big hug when he was looking broken, dejected, and like he was going to try and quit.

Not an unwinnable fight for a prime Ward, I don't think Ward wants that type of work at this point though. He likes to infight, and Beterbiev is a much stronger infighter than Kovalev. It would probably depend on what type of shape Ward could get himself into now. It would be a fight I'd watch.

 

**** Kellerman. He's never boxed, so he doesn't know what fighters have to go through.

 

I had Gvozdyk up going into the 10th. Online I seemed to be in the minority, I thought he was doing an excellent job. But Beterbiev was having a lot of success inside at the end of the rounds, when I noticed that I realised the KO was inevitable as it takes a LOT out of you to keep him off of you.

I don't buy the idea of Gvozdyk quitting at all. He was trying to trade with Beterbiev at the end, fair ****s to him. Let's see both of these dudes out again soon. G's stock didn't drop for me at all, I thought he looked an excellent boxer still. Credit to both men, cool fight.

I must say Ward out of the ring is a plus, even though he was a cheat in it.
