Given my username probably predates that app do you think I have a legal case? My trainer referred to the twisting of the wrist from vertical to horizontal at impact "grinding the flesh". Maybe I, and other boxers, have a class action case? I've watched enough episodes of Suits to know these things can be started, negotiated and completed within a 25 minute timeframe.

Bob's an old kunt. He'd take a dump on boxing if he could make a little more money. We need to remove all promoters from boxing and bring in independently audited boxing organisations. Consistent drug testing. None of the ducking. None of the overpaid divas. None of the paper belts - there can be only one champion. None of the robberies or corrupt refereeing. The best fight the best and boxers earn their shot at the title.

    Rant over.

That is the correct score in my opinion as well.

Dude, no disrespect, but you are being biased. I am a fan of Gvozdyk but the ref was protecting him. Rabbit punches are generally from the clinch but the ref stepped into every single clinch so AB couldn't free his arms and inflict damage. OG was hit hard to the body ~round 7 and then took a little break, ref did nothing. For the first time I've witnessed they overturned the first round KD. Obviously it wasn't a KD but they didn't overturn Kovalev v Ward II for blatant low blows that ended the fight (I still cannot understand that to this day apart from knowing that corruption is rampant).

Gvozdyk will be back. He could even beat AB with a better game plan. I'd suggest he counter punches more instead of initiating each engagement. He was circling away from AB's right but the times OG did damage were with his own right, which he rarely threw because he was circling away. May need to go to the body himself to keep a beast like Beterbiev off him. There are granite chinned guys who can take head shots all night but no-one can overcome a sustained body attack. This is why OG was fubar by round 9. Might need to change to a more technical coach, "try harder" is useless advice when he needs "get on your bike and make him chase you". By that time his only chance was a close points decision.

In retrospect, I agree with you. When I review the punch stats I can see how the cards could have been 5-4 Beterbiev. But Gvozdyk looked like a deer in the headlights even early in the fight from my perspective, but I could revise my card to 6-3.

Gvodzyk is a bit stiff and robotic to me. He does use his legs but he isn't very fluid.

No, I'm calling it like I see it. You're smugly gloating like a know it all. Yet we all get some right and get some wrong, get over yourself. I'm a far from perfect braggadocios a-hole when I call one right, and the same applies to you.

Because I dislike Spence, so at the last minute, I jumped on his bandwagon because I felt like being a contrarian for that fight..:sisi1
