Beterbiev is deadly on the inside but he didn't force the inside enough last night maybe to get rounds in. but the fight STARTS on the outside kovalev is not very good (at all) on the inside but he is really really good on the outside, so I don't know I think I favour beterbiev, but I think it's a 60-40 fight and a very legit fight.

    No doubt!

The only E.E. match up i want to see soon is Beterbiev/Kovalev. There is no reason that cannot get done next year for a unification assuming Kovalev beats Shabranskyy.

Wow... That’s another fight where I wouldn’t put any money on either guy. Lol! 175 has an insane amount of talent at the top.

I had Beterbiev winning every round except one before the KO
I was glad he got the rounds in this fight and not too concerned about him not cutting the ring off often enough
He did a nice job and got some good practice

It was a good fight for AB. He went 12, proved his stamina and still got the stoppage vs a durable guy in there to survive and won his first title belt.

Yeah, it wasn't a bad performance.

Koelling is tough, I said so before the fight so I can't criticize Beterbiev for not KOing him out earlier.

I can't even make an argument of a round Koelling even came close to winning.

I think I gave him one of the first three rounds
he is a durable fighter and I felt he made AB look less explosive than most and the inability to cut the ring off at times was a small concern to me for AB in this fight but as he takes on more quality fighters it could become an issue
I'm no expert this is just my view bro

I never thought Beterbiev would have beaten Ward. Maybe Stevenson and Bivol though.

If Barrera was able to crap on Shabranskky you are doubting whether Kovalev will? Unless Nov is mentally destroyed from the Wars arse whooping, I expect him to beat Stab by KO.

Going 12 rounds was ideal for Beterbiev, he's been inactive since turning pro and when he does fight it's usually over quickly. I don't think this a bad thing for AB. He was a bit mechanical and I do worry when he fights a more mobile, agile guy like Stevenson or my boy Bivol.
