He was Ukrainian, then Russian, and now German. He's not a patriot and easily changes countries, but yes, he was born in Ukraine

Dimitrenko was having his Price-Povetkin moment tonight. Its just sad it had to go awry. :ohno

Kind of like Price's Price-Povetkin moment. Only with the added insult of a bull**** stoppage.

That's wrong. He was born in Crimea which is now occupied by Russia, but when Dimi was born it was Ukrainian territory.

I love fights with dueling knockdowns. I just wish it had ended more organically.

I need to go cut off ESPN, listening to Kenny Mane on Sportscenter in the background is making me ill.

he would make a great test for Fury, if the Wilder fight doesn't come off next. Fury has never liked fighting guys anywhere near his size with a bit of talent and power.

Dimitrenko has now lost 4x, stopped thrice, dropped 10x altogether in those losses (and several times against journeymen in victories) and none of those guys - Chambers, Pulev, Parker and now Jennings - is more than a dead-average puncher at HW.

So the cheen-a, she has always been-a glass.

    He's also 36.

He also got a gift in his last outing, against Miljan Rovčanin.

Maybe ought to retire? Maybe ought to have quit while he was ahead following the Granat "upset"?

Yeah I think the Parker fight is the only one I've seen of his since he fought Pulev. He's way past his best but he actually did a little better than I expected him to given his age and how poor his competition has been since Pulev stopped him.

I was impressed with Dimitrenko tonight. For him that was a gutsy performance, he did well to make it to the 9th, and while Jennings won most of the rounds, Dimitrenko did enough to make a lot of them close. I don't think he should go anywhere near the Parkers, Whytes or Millers of the world, but he can still make some money and interesting fights at Euro level if he continues. I wasn't joking about Helenuis, it would be an interesting fight and probably about the right type of fight for the both of them.
