Wow. All I'm saying is that Josesito picked a hell of a time to bag the upset. Good for him. Let's hope for boxing's sake he has another good outing in him, win or lose.

Agree. It will be interesting to see how far CBS jumps into this. CBS could be putting up the money and then selling advertisements. I think with the NBC/Main Event shows several years back that Main Events had to buy the time and they had to sell the slots to the advertisers, though I could be wrong on all that. It would be great to see good ratings and more shows because of this.

That raises the age old question about the homes Nielsen rates. For years, it has been widely rumored that they tend to be white, middle class families.

Could be a real pivotal moment for boxing. I do wish they had something that had a little more promise to be a gripping fight. This one has too much potential to leave people wanting.

If it's CBS i'm willing to overlook the mismatch just based on the fact that it will be exciting while it lasts and casual fans need to see action.

I hope they do a triple header and show Mitchell also.

Im not to happy. Once again another fighter that has to jump another weight class to face Canelo. Lopez who really fights at 140 fighting at 154:patsch I'll rather see Rosado in there or someone else. Shame on GBP and Alvarez.

This being on CBS is amazing for boxing!! BS fight for the true fans but great for the casuals as Lopez will come to fight and get KTFO'd in brutal fashion as result. The casuals don't know or care that Lopez is from 2 divisions below, as long as the fights exciting that'll help the sport being on CBS.

I've read that Nielsen is falling in favor. Probably cable companies have better ways of knowing who watches what. I gotta believe the marketing types are on top of the trends. Plus the found that 'Nielsen' families were prone to give 'expected answers' about what they watched when it was a phone call system.
