ESPN : Chad Dawson-Andre Ward in discussion for September on HBO.

Chad Dawson going to put a whooping on him, easy work.

 

Wow tough fight to pick. I'm a huge fan of them both, but honestly, Andre Ward by close decision. The only way Chad beats him is by using his size to keep him off the inside. Personally, I think Ward has faster hands, and is a better counter puncher.

 

If Ward fights Bute and Dawson not too far apart I really would have to tip my hat off to him. Bute should be his main priority now though.

 

This fight is a pick-em. Ward's more versatile, disciplined, much more focused. Dawson has a massive reach advantage, and a height advantage. Plus, Dawson is twice as slick, fast and agile as anyone Ward's fought to date. Wouldn't be surprised by a draw.

 

I see lots of voices in favor of Ward, but I'm sticking to Dawson getting the UD, he's an awkward southpaw with an ability to control fights with his jab, generally he'd do everything to win by making the fight boring

Dawson has been fighting the best available opponent for 5+ years now.

 

His willingness to take on anybody and his resume for this era are really overlooked and underrated. If he hasn't earned some people's respect at this point, there's no hope for them.

Wtf are you talking about? Ward just spent the better part of two years in the super 6 tournament taking on and beating the best in the world most of which easily. I swear you ward haters act like he hasn't done anything.
