at 11.35-top 10 heavyweights starting with larry holmes, on for the next 2 weeks, hip hip hooray http://www.espnclassic.com/tv-guide
hopefully espn are pulling their collective fingers out and giving us more boxing, some good documentaries on last week
Not really, Lee. Same old ****. In America they get ****in' Holyfield vs Bowe and Carbajal vs Gonzalez I on their Classic. All get it is Ali/Foreman.
The Ringside programme is great but they seem to only ever show the Ali one, have seen the Top 10 HW's and the Ray Robinson ones, but would love to see the Louis and Marciano ones and any others they've done
I haven't watched it for ages to be honest but they used to show a lot more when they first arrived on British airways, I'm sure of it. Stracey vs Napoles was definitly shown within the first month as was his first defence. I also remember them showing a lot of fights from the 50's. Is it really as bad as people are saying now?
They showed Stracey and Napoles too but they literally show...the same thing. In America they get some right belters...like Bowe vs Holyfield. We never get any of that. I hear people in the General giving posters a heads up because they're having like a Holyfiled Marathon...I mean..it's not fair.
Holmes at 10?!?!!? Crazy, he's a lock for the top five IMO. Who wants to bet that Dempsey makes the top 3 :rofl
