I don't see what the big deal is Who you think would win doesn't matter until they fight Stevenson's (though I believe he did in fact duck Kovalev) win over Dawson the real champ is better than Kovalev's win over Hopkins and Cotto's(who I don't think is ducking just setting up a fight with a better more accomplished fighter) win over Martinez is better than anything on GGG's resume. The same people bitching about there rating talking about titles don't matter are the same people who would use the Lineal Title as a reason why the guy they root for is #1 if they had it.
Personally I think Canelo ends up beating Cotto and GGG but I won't call him the #1 MW because he hasn't. GGG is an intriguing prospect but he ain't did **** but look exciting vs bottom 10-15 MW's. The guy looks scary and people put more stock in a fighter looking scary than a fighters win but the fact is he doesn't have a win as good as Martinez and his next opponent isn't as good as Canelo until he get's a better win it's asinine to rank him ahead of Cotto. That's not to say I think either GGG or Kovalev are bad fighters just that the guys rightfully ranked ahead of them have done more and beaten better guys.
Right. She mentioned a black tranny approaching her on the street yesterday, asking if she could spare any tampons. My mom tried to explain to you that your ass is bleeding because you keep letting white guys have their way with you on this board.
Yeah, same tranny. She was a huge propoent of the P4P system until a bunch of white guys with weird names crashed the party.
This shows the problem with boxing. Having Cotto being number one over GGG is just plain ridiculous. Other than beating a handicapped Martinez, he's suddenly become the best? Despite the fact that GGG has out classed everyone he's fought in the middleweight division and that Cotto's team woulnd't touch GGG unless they weight drain him to a catch weight. No wonder boxing is going to the dogs. Also Kov has two belts and beaten the legendary Hopkins in a shutout. Also add that Stevenson is dodging him too....Damn boxing pisses me off.
He often makes up quotes and attributes them to people. He'll never find that quote, and dodge if you ask again.
This happened frequently in the 40s, where weak Champions set on the titles while the contenders became legends. Gus Lesnevich was the lineal Light Heavyweight Champion and even recognized as such by The RING, but RING named Charles the Fighter of the Year twice in a roll. Charles is universally honored as the greatest Light Heavyweight Of All Time but he never won the title, Lesnevich was the Champion and he refused to fight him. Its important to remember the Lineal Title is just that and nothing more, it doesn't equate greatness or superiority as some are pretending because it fits their argument at the moment. It doesn't mean you are the best fighter or really even the top guy in the divison. Foreman was the lineal Champion in the late 90s but Tyson and Holyfield both were ranked above him as #1 by RING and other writers. As of now, Golovkin and Kov are recognized as the greater fighters and even if they don't get their shot, history has a good record of remembering fighters like Charles and giving them their due.
Are you serious, he argues P4P constantly. Here's one that stands out as relevant. http://www.boxingforum24.com/showthread.php?t=489250&page=5 My *****, Cisco Route/Nay_Sayer was all about using p4P lists as a guide when there wasn't any Eastern Europeans on them.
Don't mind this guy mongoose his got issues, he seems to have an issue with some other poster who he thinks is me, very weird indeed, he will even back up terrible posters just to try and insult me it's very sad
