Fosco passed away. He was a good friend of mine. Lott is the former right hand man to Jacobs and Cayton. I dont think either of them have ever misrepresented what they had.
I like this thread. I haven't watched ESPN in years so I have no idea what you're all talking about. But the thread is entertaining.
I dunno about his being a ******, I think that got squashed? regardless though, do you remember this oddness from that time? This dude sat next to me in a few high school classes, lol. I dunno what the hell he was about doing some dumbness like this... https://wcfcourier.com/news/breakin...cle_be7994cf-2222-5f5a-b2f5-698ba79d4a89.html
ESPN has traditionally often catered to the lowest common denominator. Their coverage consistently focuses on the cult of personality of the flavor of the week weather it be Tim Tebow, Lebron James etc, so it’s not surprising that they would focus on few personalities at the expense of the actual story.
ESPN actually hosts much better fights than it used to, which is why I subscribed. Showtime and obviously HBO are the two that fell from grace.
I remember watching Superbouts on ESPN back in the day. It was awesome! They are garbage now. People just watch highlights on sports on youtube or other sources. Even worse, ESPN is all politcally Extreme & bizarre. Doesn't relate to the common sports fan at all.
I remember one time ESPN and their laughable, cringe worthy and embarrassing pseudoscientists said that a LeBron James dunk had more power than a Mike Tyson punch. Hero worship and stupidity knows no bounds to these baffoons running that network.
