    I'm familiar with him, and he did exceed my expectations. I didn't think he would beat Magdaleno. Mainly because he looked like he brought a four round gas tank with him in the fight against Juarez. He may have gotten stopped in that fight, if the ref didn't give him a quick stoppage, on that Juarez knockdown.

    What about him?

    Juarez/Magdaleno/Otake is a far greater breakthrough run than JC Paz/Johnny Navarette/vastly outsized Ali/Beefy Smith. Even if he adds Brandon Cook, which is no sure thing, it wouldn't rival Dogboe's year of higher overall quality in two fewer victories.
