Closer round, but I think Pedraza still did enough to take it.

Pedraza started stalking Ray. That was the role reversal I was talking about.

    Round 5

Beltrán is opening up with looping rights downstairs and left hooks up top, but the latter are caught on the backs of Pedraza's wrists. Pedraza, now fully entrenched in the orthodox stance, is having trouble scoring the jab as easily now at mid-range, but has found a home for the right hand over Beltrán's lazy jab. Beltrán throwing lead uppercuts and some paired off a high jab between Pedraza's eyes, scoring them intermittently on the front-foot although most are picked off. Pedraza is finding his rhythm moving around Beltrán now, slipping the jab well, but not getting in many counters. Pit-pat jabs and rights by Pedraza while stepping laterally, caught on the gloves.

    10-9 Pedraza, close

    49-46 Pedraza

Not sure what Pedraza is thinking in round 6...just trying to push Beltran about and show he's the stronger man?

Beltran is actually getting the better of the two while on the ropes.
Pedraza fighting the wrong fight here. It's the same **** that got him KOd vs Tank.

    Pedraza vs Beltran

R1 10-9 Pedraza Pedraza keeping his distance peppering Beltran with jabs.

R2 10-9 Pedraza Pedraza boxing well picking shots being good defensively. Beltran stands straight in front of him squared up and tries to bull in without even a jab, bleeding over his left eye.

R3 10-9 Pedraza Pedraza sniping with his superior reach and tying up when Beltran gets inside

R4 10-9 Beltran Beltran upping the pressure and having success. Beltran in control. Mugging Pedraza. Not letting him get off.

R5 10-9 Beltran Feinting and bouncing. Beltran lunges and lands with a left hook. More bouncing. More feinting. A clinch. Exchange and Beltran catches Pedraza coming in. Pedraza backing him up without really landing anything.

R6 10-9 Beltran Lot of wrestling on the ropes and Beltran getting much the better of it. They are infighting and Beltran is far superior there.

Beltran did some good work on the inside, needs more of that. Pedraza needs to keep distance

Beltran I think got the better of the trench warefare in the 6th. Landed a little cleaner to the body and the head. Pedraza's jab was largely absent that round.
