Where in the world would you ever get a thought like that from? My tastes actually veer far harder than The Who. They're wussy music compare to most of what I listen to

Yeah big upset, especially the manner of his victory. I had a sneaky feeling he was going to win but I didn't see it coming in that fashion.

the power is real, short hook to the jaw and the guy being touted as the best ever just drops like he was shot. great game plan cormier and velasquez put together.

Yeah, I thought Stipe was doing well before then but then he got caught after the clinch and he didn't see it coming at all.

The UFC HW division is cursed no champ can hold onto the title for more than 4 defences. Prior to Stipe it was only 3 lol.

yeah, i dont think they fight often enough for technique and consistency to separate the biggest natural talents from those close behind them. it will take years to establish the best technique for each situation cause it needs to be established in the ring.
i wasnt even aware this fight was happening till i read your post, im a fan but dont follow it like i do boxing.

Yeah, to be fair there are lots of ways to lose in MMA and the vast majority of HWs are big old lumps. Like boxing, I don't think the HWs are as talented as fighters from lower divisions either. Two of the greatest of all time (Fedor and DC) are pudgy out of shape looking guys but they whopped all these bigger, stronger looking more muscular dudes which I think is kind of cool lol

Yeah I follow both boxing and MMA, but I'm a much bigger fan of the former than I am of the later.

So, has Kavaliauskas lost his chance to fight Crawford after this performance, in fact? I mean, would fans want to see them fight?

The Lithuanian looked very ordinary. Bud and/or Spence back him up and stop him.
He never went to the body of the taller fighter, and would just fall into a clinch rather
than work inside. Yes he was grabbed but it was his fault for not punching out of the
clinch. Can't fight going backward, etc. Lots of holes in his game. And Andre Ward
was chastising him for not headbutting. (ok maybe he didn't actually say it).

    I can't believe he's a "top ten" ranked boxer.

He may have just solidified his slot, to be a future "stay busy" fight.
