Dan Rafael has Ellerbe on the record saying that Floyd has empowered him to look for the biggest fight available for a possible comeback.

Ellerbe says that Floyd was offended by Hatton's people falsely using his name as a leveraging tactic to play off against other opponents. Here is what he had to say about the two highest profile potential fighters:

We all knew he would come back, but this is the first real attributed confirmation I have yet seen. I personally like Mayweather, Pacquiao, and Hatton, so I'm excited about the potential matches. And I know nobody else really ever seems to talk about it, but I've always loved the possible thought of Mosley beating Margarito and then we get a Mosley/Mayweather fight.

But obviously the dream fight would be Manny/Money following a big win over Hatton. In my opinion it would be the most meaningful historical fight since Whitaker/Chavez.

And as an aside, would Floyd regain his Welterweight Title from Ring upon his return? It's only been one year and guys who have been inactive longer are not stripped.
