Nobuhiro has a good chin. He is getting stopped but I will say it will last more than 2 rounds.

Ishida fight tomorrow is a joke, complete waste of time. GGG has got to get in there with guys at least near his level and weight.

    I've seen evidence that it's less than "good"...and I'm guessing you haven't.

Vera not world level? Well no ****! He's a rock and sockem fighter, but I don't remember anyone sayin he was ever a world beater. Claim to fame are Lee and Mora good to see an underdog win against the odds, but he just has heart.

    It's down officially as "RTD7".

Yeah, I don't think Bondorovas retired voluntarily there...

Yep, but he wasn't the underdog tonight. Bondorovas was, at 8/1 odds. This was supposed to be a showcase to drum up interest in Vera contending for GGG's title (or getting some other big payday).

He probably failed in that, needless to say.

Ironically this "stoppage" victory probably gives him a better chance to fight GGG.

    Sad but true.

Hershman will buy the Golovkin fight anyway, but people will pretend it's somehow a better decision than Greenburg buying equally **** fights for Berto against cupcake mandatories or argue that HBO isn't in the "starmaking" business anymore.

He went the distance with Pirog and PWillie. I know he has been stopped, that is why I said he has a good chin and not a great chin. For middleweights, a guy like Kirkland has a glass chin, Ishida has a good chin and Hopkins has a great chin.

is it possible Bonodorova thought the cut was accidental and wanted to go to the scorecards?

Exactly. You're basing his chin off Pirog and Williams. You've seen Ishida what, three times altogether? Those, and Kirkland?

He traded slaps with PTP all night. It wasn't like Paul was sitting on his shots like when he scored his sole MW knockout (over Andy freaking Kolle).

As for Pirog, the work rate of Ishida prevented him from getting comfortable and looking for his power. (similar to what happened with Maciel & his awkwardness)

Pirog only kayos guys he can toy with and be in total control with, after settling into his rhythm.

I've seen Ishida get rocked and scared by Canelo's no-mark brother (whose speed, power, and skill are barely average) under elementary pressure.

Trust me. He gets knocked out cold by Golovkin.

And Pirog isn't exactly a murderous KO puncher either really. The Jacobs KO skewed perspectives on that topic as well.
