Very good scoring. Lundy did well at points, but gave too many rounds away and clearly appeared to be affected by Beltran's determination and ability to move forward regardless of what was coming his way. That's a textbook example of effective aggression, and I'm glad it was recognized as such.
Surprised to see that decision but Lundy doesn't ride with a top promoter so these things aren't taken care for him. Probably better off for him, clearly going nowhere with that shaky chin.
Aydin decision. I think guerrero has enough boxing skills to win a few rounds and survive the whole 12 rounds but not doing enough.
hmm thing is i can see Guerrero stealin rounds if he has to clinchin and all sorts, i think the only way Aydin can win is by ko or gettin knockdowns
I understand but Guerroro is really a feather-superfeather but because of his skills, he was able to outlast katsidis and casa but 147lb might be a lil too much for him. He is no Pacquiao or Shane that can just leap from lightweight to weltereweight to dominate. I mean Aydin is no world champion but he is undefeated and is a natural bigger guy with some good power so basically i'm going for confidence/undefeated and size and i'm gambling my vcash on aydin :bbb
I had Lundy winning 96-94, but several rounds were oh-so-close, and so I have zero problem with Beltran winning the decision. I was disappointed in Lundy's showing despite my giving him the decision, he looked nowhere near as sharp tonight as he did in his last fight against Dannie Williams, his work rate was down, and he had trouble with Beltran's power. I hope somehow he can still turn things around and fight for a world title, and as thin as 135 is, he has at least a chance to do so.
people pickin Gomez to win aswell, i think this weekend ima lose loads of money or im gonna get ****in lucky
