Round 4 MH using his reach to hit WH with both hands from further out than WH can touch him in return. WH is now the one circling backwards and trying to box - the problem is, he's not throwing any (or rather, many) counter punches and he's getting hit whenever MH steps forward and throws. WH just lunging with uppercuts now. MH is too good on his feet to get caught with anything stupid. He empties the chamber on WH - again, MH just doesn't have the power to get rid of him. WH crouching and chasing MH...his face a little roast beefy. 40-36 Honorio.
Hilario has thrown TWO jabs the entire fight. One landed. Hilario comes forward and Honorio digs to the body with four shots. Honorio going backwards and gets caught with a pretty good hook from Hilario. Role has reversed now as Honorio is coming forward and Hilario is going backwards. Honorio picking Hilario apart with weak but landing punches. Honorio ties up and Hilario is totally fine with it. Honorio is throwing some more strong punches. Hilario lands a straight right and is heating up now. Honorio comes back with FOUR strong punches that all land to the face. Honorio ties up and walks Hilario all the way to the opposite ropes. Hilario wails away and Honorio turns him around and accidentally punches him in the back. Too funny. Honario is just more accurate and is fighting a boring but safe fight. Honorio with a four punch body combination adn then punches Hilario in the back of the head for fun. 40-36 4-0 Honorio
Arreola on TV now. Says Adamek is a proven, european fighter. Arreola says it's his job to prove Adamek doesn't belong at HW and send him down to cruiser. Says that he hopes Arreola does fight because "old dogs revert to old tricks." Arreola says that you can't just come in head first and work your jab followed by a punch of punches. Atlas says that Arreola needs to use his jab to stabilize Adamek. Arreola says that he'll have to show his boxing skills. "Something people really don't know that I have." Arreola says he hates to lose and that explains why he came back so quickly from the Klitschko fight. Says that he hates losing even to his daughter. Arreola says if you accept a loss and "if you say it's okay to lose then you're a loser in my eyes." Atlas asks Arreola about his conditioning. Arreola says he's been working hard on his conditioning for three weeks now. "Adamek is going to try to run and box and I have to show people I'm in shape and that I have boxing skills." Arreola says he's aiming for 239 for his weight. Round 5 for Hilario although I pretty much slept walked through that round. 49-46 Honorio
Arreola is asked a question about Adamek as a HW. He says that chocolate chip cookie ice cream sandwiches are extra num with cool whip. ?? Round 5 MH continues to really control WH with busy and mostly accurate punching in reverse gear. WH seems all too eager to flop into his chest now...he's clearly not bothered by anything getting through for MH, but does seem to be punching himself out a bit despite having thrown little. WH is moving his head now - but not intelligently, as though to avoid punches; rather, more like a bobblehead in a predictable side-to-side rhythm. MH is basically like "Really??" and times these bobbles with head punches to either side. 50-45 MH
239 my ass WAR ADAMEK!!!!! i cant see him "running" but i can see him pounding that fat belly all night long
Hilario starting to show urgency much better round for him, he's still not doing enough, pick it up some more!!4-1 HONORIO
Round 6 now. Honorio walks and Hilario comes forward. Atlas has it 49-46 although we differ on rounds (Atlas gave Hilario round 2, I gave Hilario round 5). Hilario coming forward, winging but not landing. Honorio is using his faster hands and superior accuracy to pepper Hilario. Hilario gets tied up and then battered around by Honorio. Honorio lands 6 punches somewhat cleanly as Hilario is covering up. Hilario is tying up now as I think he's tired. Both guys clinch and there's a temporary lull in the action. Honorio landing two right hands to the body and a combination drops Hilario!
Round 6 Teddy gave the 2nd to Hilario. Weird. MH is putting extra spicy brown mustard on everything he sends WH's way now. Beginning with 1-2s, and developing them into at times up to ten punch combinations. WH is simply trying to find an angle to load up and find MH's chin. MH is too tall, too aware, and too good a mover. MH drops WH. WH beats the count but is immediately dropped again by a similar combination. MH blasting away with both fists. WH taking a ton of punishment; Dr. Jen Kin letting it reach its natural conclusion. WH escapes the round. 10-7 round for Honorio. He's winning 60-52
