Is there a schedule anywhere for these? Seems that every Friday that I am home and look for it, I can't find it. Is it every other Friday? Or one Friday of the month? How does it work??
http://sports.espn.go.com/sports/boxing/news/story?page=boxing/schedule/index ESPN updates it weekly.
Yea I saw that, but there is no boxing to be seen tonight on either ESPN or ESPN2. Do they not always televise it? Whats the deal? They have some kind of basketball and something else playing right now.
January 9 At Primm, Nev. (ESPN2): "Friday Night Fights" season premier, Yuriorkis Gamboa vs. Roger Gonzalez, 12 rounds, featherweights; Odlanier Solis vs. Owen Beck, 10 rounds, heavyweights FNF and WNF on ESPN is seasonal. It's not on every Friday or Wednesday throughout the year.
Thats the part I didnt know. How many times a month do they run? Is there some routine, or do they randomly have it?
FNF usually runs from January through August or September (generally at 9 PM EST, though it varies at times). Wednesday Night Fights has been canceled altogether. ESPN typically does 3-4 shows a month when they're in season.
Thanks man. Thought I havent seen Wed. night fights. Too bad too cause it was a good thing to do to pass the time. Now there is barely any boxing on TV anymore. Nothing but this Man on Man MMA bull****.
