Gotta say seeing that fight LIVE? I was scared to death and PROUD AS HELL in the end:yep

Spadafora got caught dipping behind the EAR. Terrible internal equilibirum imbalance from that type of shot vs PUNCHER like Sosa.

Witnessing the heart, resolve, and CHAMPIONSHIP WILL of watching Spadafora eat, fight, and recover from that adversity proved out the toughness of his will and depth of Character. Didnt spit no mouthpiece, didnt complain, didnt run:nono Survived and PERSEVERED!!

Thats the spirit that makes great moments and great HISTORY.

Floyd "If he got the best of me? So be it! Whats that mean?"

C Money "It meant as soon as you heard he hit REHAB, it was fight time":-( :-( :-(

Spats been released from JAIL today surrounding his latest difficulty. The order's have lifted and he should be able to continue his comeback.
Can he fight to maintain the discipline neccessary to get back with his current situation?

I pray. This guy could still make noise. Even in a LOSS scenario? I'm confident the heart and will will B THERE:good

Knowing the adversity Spadafora lived? The heart displayed vs Sosa is but a reflection. Achieving against the ODDS:good

I live in Pittsburgh, I seen a couple Spadafora fights live. The guy ihas very quick hands and a good overall boxing ability, but the guy lacks the power needed to beat a fighter like a Mayweather or a Hatton, but he can still probably win against decent competition, just not against top notch fighters.

    Heh, just jackin ya C.

Honestly, was never a big Spaddy fan. But to soldier through an ear shot the way he did in that fight took a ton of heart. I wish him the best in his comeback.

    Fair enough:happy Its all GOOD:good

Fan or Not? This kid was robbed of opportunity by Floyd "The Duck" Maywehater JR. at 135. Floyd need almost 4 years, a shooting, and finally REAHAB!! To peak his interest:-( :-( :-(

Spadafora certainly has to start the blame with NUMERO UNO:yep We all make choices. However? The Woman involved is even more VOLATILE. Which makes his situation a MOLOTOV COCKTAIL. Will you get burned or avoid the heat?

I know him and if he really gets in THE RIGHT CONDITION? Spadafora is a World Class Fighter who knows all about war and victory. Win or lose? I'll accept it. I just pray that he will get in the condition necessary to give himself the CHANCE he truly has. If I win the lottery? Or Had my wish granted? He''ll come out of a remote unknown CAMP in Siberiia to win a 140 World TITLE. Ms. Russo would have to wait at least 36 Months to see him!!!!

My fellow Pittsburgher? Seek Spadafora vs Mayweather on YOU TUBE, see the full 6 rounds. See you're power theory DISPROVED. Follow timeline and logic and see why PBF ducked him.

Fair enough, though from watching a decent amount of his fights at the David L., the fight I remember the most was his battle against Dorin, which ended up being a draw if my memory serves me, it was a pretty close match that I felt Dorin won. Dorin's next match was against Gatti, Gatti knocked him out with a body shot early on.

Im not saying Spadafora isnt a good boxer, but he lacks the power needed to beat a Cotto or Mayweather, even Hatton for that matter. I'm sure you watched just as many matches as me, being from Pittsburgh and all, but I cant recall anyone time where he knocked out a top notch fighter, or even hurt one for that matter.

who is Paul's trainer right now? I wish he would get back with Jesse Reid it seemed Reid could get the most out of him but I know their relationship has been damaged.

Spadadfora was already having behind the scenes issues (RUSSO and sobriety)and it showed vs Dorin. Remember that was 3+ years after he laid it down on Mayweather in the gym.

If he aint right? He'll get beat. If he comes in the right shape he still has the skill and will to make a good fight.

Never said he HAS good power, but he has a respectable bit. Most go back when they walk into his left hand even though he's a natural orthodox. Fought southpaw from the beginning.

As for matches? I missed very few of his fights live.

A guy by the name of Diaz out of California Pa.

Reed certainly brought a fighting attitude and presence in the corner. Yet he often wanted Paul to stationary for my taste. SPat is best when using the ring a bit and comin off angles. That was something Yankello brought but there was a major clash between Reed and Yankello.

Based on the recent Howard fight? Spat was agressive and still showed a bit. Putting the puzzle back together is a process but if they continue the training and activity he'll make a fight.

I forgot about Yankello. He is a good young trainer Calvin Brock also dropped him recently which I think was a dumb move. I am hoping Spadafora can get it back together and we can see him back on TV soon.
