    Well, the first fight on this ESPN card featured touted amateur vs. designated tomato can.

    Of course, Diaz disposed of his opponent in less than a round. Now the second touted amateur, Despaigne, blew away his opponent

    I wonder if Rigondeux's opponent is gonna be as pathetic?

    Andrade is what he is.

    A 39 year old veteran who is naturally smaller and lost everytime he stepped up and lost by KO.

    Don't expect much since he is really past it and Rigo is hungry.

    Well, I expect Rigo to win, of course - but the opponents in these first couple of fights have been BEYOND pathetic.

    I don't agree with a lot of what Teddy Atlas says - and surprisingly, he hasn't said it tonight (maybe he got a memo from the ESPN suits) - but fights like this are WORTHLESS for doing anything other than padding records!

    You just had to expect Atlas would ask Cotto about his confidence after the Margarito loss and conversely expect to hear Cotto give the generic 'I've looked good in my past 2 fights' answer.

    Well ESPN is for padding records for the highly touted otherwise they wouldn't get on tv and it's just normal his 2 fights were against bums.Rarely you see guys fights good guys IN HIS FIRST 2 fight.

    This is a 10 rounder remember.

    Maybe not. They're worked up from two four rounders (both ended predictably early, to now one scheduled for eight. Probably one more six rounder after this, as there's still over an hour left in the broadcast. Unless they're going to devote a good chunk of time to discussing the weigh-in.

    Yeah the opponent is better in this Jhonson fight, but he's still losing every round.

    But those other guys - who had the same amount of fights - were matched SOFT!!
