How often does a guy fight a 52-11 opponent in his THIRD pro fight?

 

Does Andrade have the most padded record ever?

He has 60(49) wins. Great.

Then check who they are over, and all the guys he lost to that are world class.

There was a thread on this (more than one, actually). He's not as bad as his record indicates (strange as that sounds, since the point you're making is that he's not as good as his record indicates...which is also true on a surface level :huh). If you watch the Lopez blowout, sure he looks like nothing. But there's footage of him dominating C- level fighters, so he's a serviceable fighter at least. Having dozens of nobodys (losing records and debuters) swelling up your win column and losing every time you step up to world class doesn't mean you're terrible. It means you're not world class.

 

Agreed, he's obviously not terrible, although his losses are a bit shocking. Early KO's. An early KO to Wlad Sidorenko is almost unforgiveable. Yet strangely he did okay against Caballero.

Grano isn't exactly a marathon man, so if he can weather the storm early he (Travis) has a very good chance. Sparring on even terms with (and at moments besting) Arreola doesn't translate into world-beater, but it means Kauffman's at least a decent fighter. Grano really isn't even that - he's a front-running puncher.

 

I was really hoping that Scarborough can dude would make it through the first so I could hear him on his stool yelling out to his chief second "Adrian!" :rofl

 

Andrade hasn't got a lot done yet. Don't think he's landed. Looks stiff as a board, I get the impression if you got to his body he's toast. Old guys don't deal with that well.

On the positive side he's not been too troubled.
