    Screw it man, I'm changing the title back. :lol: Except for (arguably) the second fight - where the guy actually finished, although he lost every round - these fights were horrendous mismatches!

    I don't know about you guys, but I get sick of being fed these prospect vs. tomato can type fights on these networks. I suppose it's better than NO boxing, but.....ya think they could do better!

    Just saying I have seen all of his pro fights thus far and the level of competition, although very poor, has shown me that Rigondeaux in his current form isnt going to be "great" that the hype is building him up to be. Just my opinion i see a lot of professional flaws in his game. The worst of it is he doesnt tuck his chin and loops his shots too much. Someone with a real good straight right is going to take his head off.

    Maybe roach can correct those flaws time will tell.

    Seems like a pretty common Ahmet Oner trick by now. He did it with Gamboa and Solis too - had them face some schlub with tons of experience a few fights in their career, and they got 'knocked out' pretty early without taking much damage.

    These sorts of cards do not deserve air time. If these guys weren't from Cuba they would not have been.

    That was my feeling, once I saw the pathetic quality of the first two opponents - who were basically SO overmatched, they just folded at the first sign of trouble.

    The guy in the second fight at least tried, but he lost every frikkin' round. He was more durable, but had no shot of winning.

    And Rigondeaux's opponent just out and out quit after being hit with the first decent punch of the fight.

    All in all one of the WORST ESPN cards all year, and you could feel it coming from the opening fight!

    Time to switch over to Showtime, both of these fights are going to be way more competitive than any of those on ESPN. :D

    Agreed. His class of opponents have been so far below him they make him look bad. He's hardly had a chance to showcase anything in his three fights.
