He got knocked down 3 times in less than a minute. I would agree with you if it had been stopped after the first or the 2nd, but after a third time, it seems idiotic to say "Oh yeah, let this kid continue, he can bounce" back.
You never know what was going to happen, rosado could have got up and won ever other round. Fight was stopped way too early, you have to give the fighters a chance, it isn't the refs job to decide the ponts, fact is Rosado was not seriously hurt.
After the 1st knockdown he didn't do **** to atleast get out of the round, he got his ass dropped. He was not HURT but he was kind of shocked.
That was the main event. There's < 20 minutes in the broadcast - it'd have to be a 4 rounder. And it is...140 lbs....11-0 (6) Sharif Bogere vs. 7-1 (5) Rodolfo Armenta (scheduled for 6 on boxrec contrary to what ESPN says...)
Oh come the **** on.. dude was on the canvas 3 times in less than a minute. Just about a perfect reason to stop a fight. Maybe he wasn't all that hurt, but he was hurt enough to not stay on his damned feet 3 times.
It's ridiculous and I despised Naz and Arce for lesser pomp, but for some reason I'm rooting for Booger anyway. I really like lions.
You stop the fight because the fighter is hurt, not becuase he fell down too many times, unless there was a 3 knockdown rule. Bogere is a little fire*******.
