I always thought Inoue was the better fighter. I think Roman was really really good, but Inoue just has this "Wtf am I watching" thing about him.

That stuff about him that separates him from the rest.

When you watch other fighters, you usually know what's going to happen, you can follow it all. When you watch Naoya, you're like ok... hmm.. yeah he just knocked him out.. How the **** did he do that?!

I see multiple people saying Inoue is now "the real deal". Ehm what, he's been P4P and the real deal with nearly 4 years.

 

Come on, please...don't get ahead of yourselves. McDonnell was literally dead on the scales, he looked almost as bad as Tony Bellew did against Stevenson. Yes, it's impressive, I'll give you that. But he was dead at the weight, against a power puncher and was tall and therefore had wobbly long legs. It's a recipe for disaster. Not to mention, McDonnell hasn't exactly fought loads of top opposition has he? I think we need to stand back for a moment and just not give Inoue as much credit as what has been given in the last 5 minutes or so.
